Epidemiological Study
In 2002 the Huichols & Pesticides published the study
Pesticides, tobacco, and health: the case of Huichol and mestizo field workers, and ejidatarios in Nayarit, Mexico. (251 pages)
This publication examines the effects of exposure to organophosphates and carbamates among tobacco farmers in Nayarit. 448 people participated in the study (161 were migrant indigenous field workers of the Wixárika (Huichol) community).

In 1999 Huichols & Pesticides published an extensive collection of articles regarding pesticides between 1991 and 1998. A second edition, in 2002, extended the coverage to the year 2000.
